The life of an Apple teenager is not even approximately safe. From the very birth, the girl was prepared for trials, because her mother gave birth to a child from a casual relationship. Then the woman was arrested for drug possession, and Apple was sent to a shelter. At the age of 14, the girl is familiar with the underside of life firsthand: after changing several children's institutions, she ends up in a psychiatric clinic, from where her mother is forced to take her.
